KITT has electronic sounds and lights controlled via a touch feature on the hood. The vehicle quotes phrases from the series with KITT's iconic original voice. Certain quotes are linked to the on/off function, the others are played randomly. At the same time, the iconographic string of lights on the car's grille lights up and the light on the dashboard flickers.
In addition to the titular hero Michael Knight, the playset also includes sophisticated accessories such as Bonnie Barstow's computer laboratory and Devon Miles' office furniture. Now it's time to get in and drive off to the next mission!

With light and sound module:
A single tap on the vent will trigger the welcome sequence.
Each additional tap activates one of six electronic function sequences with light and sound.
Active switching off (long press) or after 60 seconds of inactivity (auto power off) activates the farewell sequence and all light and sound functions are switched off.
